Kidderminster Harriers put in a reasonable display against high flying Hull at Aggborough today. Harriers took the lead before a Hull equaliser resulted in a fair 1-1 draw. HARRIERS 1 HULL 1 (BREIF REPORT) Harriers made changes from last weeks draw at Lincoln, with Adam Murray and Leon Clarke coming in for Matt Gadsby and Ian Foster, who were on the bench.The game was not mcuh of spectical, with high winds and the standard fool referee, who upset both sets of fans.Hull lost midfielder Lee Marshall early on with what was later reported as a broken leg after a clash with Stamps. Harriers took the lead, with Simon Brown netting his 2nd goal in as many games. Played through by Murray, he streched out from 20 yards to power the ball past Myhill in the Hull goal. Hull fought back and hit the bar from a free kick and Danby was the busier of the 2 keepers. Just before the interval Kidder went close again when a Yates shot was deflected away for a corner. HALF TIME 1-0 The 2nd half saw Hull try and come out more and Danby was forced into a smart save with Hatswell making a fine block also. Hull eventually levelled on 68 mins. Viveash made a rare error in being caught in possesion and Hull advanced to level with a close range finish from Burgess. The expected bombardment from the Tigers never materialised, with Hull content with long range efforts which were well off target. Harriers nearly snatched it at the end when, after making the chance himself, John Williams's rising 1/2 volley hit the bar. Overall a fair result and one which most Harriers fans will be happy with. Harriers are now on 47 pts and sit 17th in a close 3rd div table.
