Harriers are up to 46 points after Saturdays draw at Lincoln. 2 more wins are needed for safety and next up its high flying Hull City. Not before a Worcs Senior Cup semi final on Tuesday.

Harriers had to settle for a point at Sincil Bank after conceding a late equaliser from Richardson. Matt Gadbsy returned for Kidder and WBA loanee Simon Brown made his Harriers debut. After a goalless 1st half it was Brown who gave Harriers the lead, slotting home from close range. Harriers had further chances to score with Ian Foster going it alone when a pass to Brown would have been wiser in hindsight. Lincoln too had chances and hit the woodwork before the late leveller.The other new loan man Leon Clarke came on as a 2nd half sub.

So you could say 2 points dropped but beforehand a point against Lincoln would have been acceptable, especially after last weeks defeat to Macc. Harriers are now 15th in the table with the bottom 2 both losing, Macclesfield failing to build on their fine win over us and ended up losing by a similar score. The Amcc lads went down 4-0 at home to Northampton. Danny Williams scored on his Bristol debut whilst Bo Henriksen also made his bow as a sub for Rovers. Next up sees high flying Hull City arrive at Aggie on Saturday in what could be the biggest crowd of the season, league wise. Apparently it is all ticket for Tigers fans.

The official site reports that Harriers boss Jan Molby tried to get former loan man Colin Larkin back to Aggboro but failed. I also learned that we beat Bristol Rovers to the loan signing of Leon Clarke. Perhaps with The Gas’s activities of late, ie signing Danny & Bo and going for Clarke, maybe Britt has been in touch with them?? Anyway, tomorrow night (Tuesday 30th March) sees Harriers in Worcs Senior Cup action, when we take on Sutton Coldfield Town at Aggborough, with a 7.30 kick off (I think!). The winners will meet Worcester City in the final. Please see official site for more details.
