Manchester United hope to get back to winning ways against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon after consecutive draws with Manchester City, Villarreal and Liverpool.

Manchester United hope to get back to winning ways against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon after consecutive draws with Manchester City, Villarreal and Liverpool.

It'll be a case of Apprentice v. Master as Mark Hughes returns to the club he spent many great years with to try and outwit former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I love coming back, even if it's just going back to watch games. It’s a special place. I was very fortunate to spend such a long time with United. I’m always grateful," said Hughes on his time as a Red Devil.

Regarding this season, the Welshman added: "We're more than capable of finishing in the top half of the league. We finished 15th last season, which was disappointing in the end.

"We were comfortable, safe even with five winnable games to go and just took our foot off the pedal, which made the difference. We hope to improve on that this season."

Rovers have been tipped for success this season but will need to improve on their points tally as they've picked up 5 points in 6 games, dropping into the relegation zone.

However, the former Premiership champions recorded a 3-1 Carling Cup victory over Huddersfield in midweek in a game where Craig Bellamy's first brace for his new club helped secure victory. United meanwhile are impressively undefeated thus far this season but are winless in 3 games.

Team News: 
Roy Keane, Gabriel Heinze, Wes Brown and Quinton Fortune are all absent while Rovers welcome back Andy Todd and Morten Gamst Pedersen.

I'm sure we'll convert 3 draws on the bounce into a win on Saturday. As mentioned, Craig Bellamy is starting to find the net again and United will have to be on guard around him. 2-0 United
