Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has categorically denied that he and Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane have not rowed during the the Republic's lead up to their crucial World Cup Qualifier with France.

Roy Keane is reportedly unhappy with Kerr's decision not to apply a curfew for players to return to their hotel, but the ROI boss rubbishes such claims.

"There's no truth whatsoever that I have had a bust-up with Roy or any of the other players," he angrily stated. "I don't do bust-ups with players. I have a very good relationship individually and professionally with all the players.

"We discuss things openly and they give their point of view if they have one." 

"We had a meal together and the players had the option of a free evening to go out if they wanted. There was no curfew.

"We've a disciplined squad. They train hard, play hard and work hard, and I've no problems with morale, professionalism or desire to do well in matches." 

Keane is notorious for his World Cup bust up with former Republic boss Mick McCarthy in 2002.
