Manchester United youngster Mads Timm has been sent out on-loan to Norwegian outfit FC Lyn Oslo until the end of the year to gain first team experience.
Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to make friends with Lyn because
of the Jon Obi Mikel saga while Lyn director Morgan Andersen revealed there was interested
from other clubs including Championship side Stoke.
"Several other clubs were also interested in
Mads. Amongst them were Stoke. But Alex Ferguson felt it was best to loan him to
Lyn," he said.
"We are, of course, happy with that."
Timm is desperate to revive his career after trouble with the police due for dangerous driving. The Dane has previously spent a loan spell with Viking.
