Jonathan Spector will have an array of Premiership clubs to choose from in order to gain first-team experience next season. Charlton Athletic, West Brom and Blackburn Rovers are all monitoring his situatuon.

A number of clubs including Blackburn Rovers, West Bromwich Albion and Charlton Athletic are set to inquire about Spector's situation at Old Trafford next week and Sir Alex Ferguson is itching for the young American defender to leave on loan.

Mark Hughes' Blackburn Rovers were due to take last season's Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award-winner on loan in January but due to injury problems at United, the deal was abandoned.

"We feel Jonathan has an outstanding chance of becoming a first team player with Manchester United and this move will allow him to accelerate that development," Sir Alex Ferguson said prior to the cancellation of the deal.

West Brom were also eyeing Spector and Charlton Athletic are fresh contenders for the American international's signature.

Charlton Athletic meanwhile are set to wrap up the loan signing of another United starlet this week, Chris Eagles, as reported by ManUtdWeb.
