Michael Stewart has revealed that he would be delighted to join Hibernian next season should the oppotunity arise following a disappointing season with Hearts. The Scotsman spent an injury-plagued season with Hearts last season but would now like to move on.

He sees an opportunity to work with Hibs boss Tony Mowbray at Easter Road an exciting opportunity.

"I know there will be stick from some quarters but I'm an Edinburgh boy and grew up in that environment," said the 24-year-old.

"Tony is clearly going places with Hibs and I'm delighted to have been offered this chance."
