Manchester United welcome newly crowned Premiership Champions Chelsea to Old Trafford on Tuesday night, hoping to end their unbeaten league run that started in early October.

Only United's arch-rivals Manchester City managed to beat Jose Mourinho's fleet in the Premiership this season and bounced back to have not failed to lose a league game since.

With chances of United reaching 2nd spot ahead of Arsenal looking slim, both United and Chelsea will be playing for pride.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has revealed he will tamper with his squad and rest a few players for the trip to Lancashire. "Some players are tired and we have to take care of them because during the season they have taken care of us."

"We will have in the next week three operations, not big things but small problems to solve. Problems to players that have given everything for us. Lampard, Terry and Carvalho will have small surgeries,” he added.

Opposing boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted Mourinho and his team fully deserve the title. "Chelsea will know fine well that we'll be one of their challengers next season and they'll be one of ours."

Ruud van Nistelrooy will lead the front-line after recovering from an ankle injury whilst Gary Neville returns from suspension. Skipper Roy Keane is expected to return to midfield.

Meanwhile, Carlo Cudicini is likely to continue in-between the sticks for Chelsea.
