50-time Scottish Football League winners Glasgow Rangers have finally completed the signing of Manchester United winger Bojan Djordjic. The Belgrade-born midfielder looks set to make his debut against Celtic in a Scottish Cup tie at Parkhead.

Glasgow Rangers have completed the signing of out-of-favour Manchester United winger Bojan Djordjic. The Scandinavian has moved to Ibrox Park for no fee, signing an initial six-month contract with the SPL side.

 

"This is a big opportunity and I am delighted with the move,” said Djordjic

"I always wanted to represent a big club at first-team level. Of course I have been at Manchester United but this is a really great opportunity to get my career back on track."

 

Djordjic has always struggled for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford and has looked set to leave for sometime. Alex McCleish has decided to sign the Belgrade-born midfielder after a successful trial spell. In the past he has enjoyed loan terms with Sheffield Wednesday, Aarhus and Red Star Belgrade.

 

Due to problems with registration, Djordjic will not be available to play for the Bears until New Years Day and will miss the league trip to Dundee. His debut could come in the following game at Celtic Park – a Scottish Cup clash with Rangers’ bitterest rivals.
