Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Anderlecht's teenage sensation Anthony Vanden Borre, who has been touted as the biggest young prospects in Belgium. The versatile midfielder and defender, just a tender 17 years of age, has been handed major responsibilities over the past few months, winning his first senior cap for his country and representing his current club, Anderlecht, in the Champions League. Youngster Vanden Borre has also made appearances for his national side at U16 and U21 level. United scouts are reportedly in Belgium tonight to watch Vanden Borre play against Claudio Ranieri's Valencia side in their Champions League Group G clash. Borre, normally a centre-half, can slot in at right-back as well as central midfield and on the right hand side of midfield. |
