Fans Still Rue Ronaldinho Miss

It may be two years on, but fans of Manchester United still cannot forget nor forgive their club for not signing Brazilian attacker Ronaldinho whilst they had their prime chance.

The Red Devils perused a world-class attacking minded player due to the departure of David Beckham, who was offloaded to Real Madrid, and instantly moved for Ronaldinho but failed in negotiations with the 24-year old. Ronaldinho however opted for a move to the gilts and glamour of Spanish football with Barcelona rather than a transfer to Old Trafford from French side PSG.

This information comes direct from a landslide poll result conducted by ManUtdWeb, in which over 300 unique United fans cast their vote.

Ronaldinho received an overwhelming 61% of the results, seeing off competition from the likes of Dutch prospect Arjen Robben and Newcastle hotshot Alan Shearer, who managed 14% and 17% of votes respectively.
