After years of playing for Sir Alex Ferguson, will the result of the fixture mean prentice beating master?

Sir Alex Ferguson and his team's morale have been marred this week with the possibility of US tycoon Malcolm Glazer making over a possible take-over bid.

Looking at Premiership form, the result should swing in favour of United as Birmingham lay 15th in the Premiership, wondering where the metabolism from last season has gone. Despite making some decent signings during the summer in Mario Melchiot and Jesper Gronkjaer, Bruce's side haven't been prolific so far this season.

Dwight Yorke is set to start up-front versus the club he won a Champions League medal with.

United on the other hand welcome Paul Scholes and Louis Saha back from injury. £12 million signing Saha has worked really hard in reserve games lately and may even earn himself a place on the bench tomorrow. "Louis has looked good in his reserve games and did fantastically well in training on Thursday. I hope he'll be able to have an injury-free run." stated Sir Alex Ferguson.
