A number of Manchester United players have been called up to represent their respective countries to play in midweek as countries prepare for World Cup qualifiers. Roy Keane, Liam Miller, John O'Shea, Darren Fletcher, Roy Carroll and Quinton Fortune all get the nod. Hobbs in Trouble

A number of Manchester United players have been called up to represent their respective countries to play in midweek as countries prepare for World Cup qualifiers.

Irish trio Roy Keane, Liam Miller and John O'Shea have all been called-up by Republic boss Brain Kerr to face Bulgaria in Ireland whilst Darren Fletcher will play in Scotland against Hungary.

Quinton Fortune, who will break a two-year absence from international football, will feature in their game against Tunisia in Tunis also. Goalkeeper Roy Carroll is in Northern Ireland's squad who face Switzerland also.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gabriel Heinze both continue their Olympic tournament and have both netted during the games in Athens.
