Manchester United midfielder Kleberson has
helped his country Brazil to lift the Copa America after a penalty
shoot-out win much to the despair of runners-up Argentina.
Five-time World Cup winners Brazil sent a very much depleted side to Peru for the tournament with Red Devil Kleberson being the only World Cup winner in the squad but managed to pull-off a penalty shoot-out victory. New-boy at Old Trafford Gabriel Heinze received a runners-up medal for Argentina. Argentine Kily Gonzalez opened the scoring from a spot-kick on the 20th minute only for it to be ruled out by a Luisao effort before half-time. Marcelo Bielsa's Argentina thought they'd won it with 3 minutes to go but Adriano spectacularly equalized deep into stoppage time. Heinze missed his spot kick however Kleberson now goes back to Old Trafford brimming with confidence hoping to prove his worth. |
