Hong Kong 7s Tournament Review
Over the past couple of days, Reserve team boss Rciky Sbraiga has taken a blend of youth and reserve players to Hong Kong to compete in the annual Hong Kong 7s Tournament.

The Red Devils along with the likes of Arsenal, Celtic, Aston Villa and Rangers have all traveled to the Asian country to potentially play one another and a whole host of local Asian outfits.

Rules state that each team should only have 7 players on the field and are allowed up to 3 substitutes. 16 teams are split into 4 groups (A, B, C, D) and will play each other just once in the group. The two teams with the most points in their group advance into the latter stages. 3 points are given for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.

The Young Reds were drawn with HKFC, Bular Rangers and amateur Dorset side Wimbourne Town.

After beating both Wimbourne Town (2-0) and Bular Rangers (1-0) United have made it through to the quarter-finals and will come up against Kashima Antlers although suffering a minor set-back, drawing with HKFC 1-1.
