Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has
revealed that he is not looking forward to playing team-mate Cristiano
Ronaldo on Thursday as Neville's England and Ronaldo's Portugal face each
other in the first Euro 2004 quarter-final.
Ronaldo, 19, has continued his fine form he left behind at Old Trafford from the back end of last season and has been tricking defenders with his fantastic array of skills in his home country of Portugal. I know Cristiano Ronaldo is not going to
give me one single second’s rest for 90 minutes," claims Neville. "I played against him every day in
training this season and he’s a fabulous player." |
