The Football Association (The FA) have confirmed that they are going to investigate Tim Howard's £2.3 million move to Old Trafford. Howard has settled in nicely to life in the Premiership and has been one of the keys to United's success so far this season. Hobbs in Trouble

FA Investigate Howard Move
The Football Association (The FA) have confirmed that they are going to investigate Tim Howard's £2.3 million move to Manchester United.

A national newspaper has supposedly shown documents to the governing body that shows evidence that United secretly paid various agents during the American's move from The Metrostars to Old Trafford.

Executive director of the FA, David Davies, confirmed: "Various documents are now in our possession,"

"They will be studied very carefully and any breach of the rules and regulations that they show will then be discussed as a matter of urgency." he added.

Howard has settled in nicely to life in the Premiership and has been one of the keys to United's success so far this season. Howard made Fabien Barthez a forgotten man for a few months and has stopped Barthez and Roy Carroll from being between the sticks this season.
