Several United players have been called up by their countries to either compete in a friendly game or a competitive game. Wingers Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher have been called up for Wales and Scotland for Euro 2004 playoff matches and Diego Forlan has been called up by Uruguay. Match Report

International Weekend
As it is international weekend, several United players have been called up by their countries to either compete in a friendly game or a competitive game.

Wingers Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher have been called up for Wales and Scotland for Euro 2004 play-off matches and Diego Forlan has been called up by Uruguay to face Brazil in a World Cup qualifier. Those are the only players to be called up for a competitive game.

The Neville brothers and Nicky Butt have been called up for England, who will play Denmark at Old Trafford. Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand are both unavailable for the game.

Frenchmen Mikael Silvestre and Fabien Barthez have been called up for france, who face Germany, Cristiano Ronaldo will be in action for Portugal U21's and Eric Djemba-Djemba has been called up for Cameroon, who play Japan.

Luckily, Ruud van Nistelrooy has gotten into the Dutch squad despite Dick Advocatt saying he doesn't have a feature in their squad and John O'Shea has been called up for Ireland to face Canada at Lansdown Road.
