Manchester United’s young guns Darren Fletcher, Christopher Eagles and Eddie Johnson have all agreed to extend their contracts at Old Trafford. Mads Timm is also in talks over a possible contract extension too. Match Report

United's Youngsters Extend Contracts

Manchester United’s young guns Darren Fletcher, Christopher Eagles and Eddie Johnson have all agreed to extend their contracts at Old Trafford.

Both Christopher Eagles and Eddie Johnson played vital parts in United’s FA Youth Cup victory, and Sir Alex Ferguson awarded them with an extension of contract.

Darren Fletcher has been impressive in the Reserve team, and is breaking through to United’s first team, so he has also been rewarded with a contract extension.

United’s 18-year-old Danish forward Mads Timm, signed from Odense Boldklub in Denmark, is currently in talks with United over a possible extension to his contract
