With United signing US 'keeper Tim Howard last month, the competition over who will be United's first choice 'keeper is closer than ever.

Tim Howard, Fabien Barthez, Roy Carroll and Ricardo are all classed as excellent goalkeepers, and will all believe they deserve to get a regular place between the sticks for the Red Devils.
