United give PSG Ronaldinho Ultimatum

Manchester United have delivered an ultimatum to Paris Saint Germain, saying if their bid for Ronaldinho is not accepted by 18:00 this evening, they will withdraw their bid for the World Cup star. 

If the deal is not done this evening, Barcelona will almost certainly snap up the Brazilian ace. 

"Negotiations between Manchester United and Paris St Germain and representatives of Ronaldinho have been ongoing for several weeks," said a United spokesman. 

“We want the deal to reach a conclusion, and have given PSG until 18.00 to accept our offer” 

Barca’s bid is imperceptibly less than United’s, but the Catalan giants have attached a series of clauses to their bid, which will be more beneficial financially for PGS in the long run.

Should United fail to sign Ronaldinho, it is believed Sir Alex Ferguson will turn his attention to Irish winger Damien Duff.
