Ronaldinho Bid Rejected

Paris Saint-Germain have turned down an undisclosed offer from United for Brazilian star Ronaldinho.

PSG president Francis Graille has been in talks with United officials as they look to agree a fee for the World Cup winner.

No deal could be agreed though, as PSG are demanding a fee of around £31million for the 23-year-old.

"We have refused the United offer for Ronaldinho." said Graille.

"Manchester United are interested in Ronaldinho but if they want him they will have to pay a very expensive amount."

It is unknown whether Sir Alex Ferguson will up his bid, and with Real Madrid's interest in Ronaldinho rumoured to be growing by the day, the United boss may need to look elsewhere for his Beckham replacement.
