Twenty's Plenty for United fans at Southampton


£20 for away fans

Manchester United fans travelling to the St.Mary’s this season will play only £20 to attend the fixture, with the club setting the price gap for all away fans over the course of the 2016/17 season.

The move comes, as the Football Supporters' Federation continue their Twenty's Plenty campaign, which aims to introduce similar pricing restrictions across the league.

A deal has been arranged with Virgin Media to support subsiding the ticket cost of visiting supporters.

The news follows a statement earlier in the year from the Premier League, confirming away fans would pay a maximum of £30 for their tickets at all of the division’s grounds.

Such moves are positive, with clubs beginning to sit up and take note of widespread concern at extortionate ticket prices. Issues exist across the country, however, with Aston Villa fans forced to fork out a whopping £42 for their recent Championship clash at Sheffield Wednesday.
