United players return to domestic action on Saturday 17th October with the short trip down the motorway to Goodison Park for a Premier League game against Everton.  A trip to CSKA follows on 21st October before Manchester City visit Old Trafford for the derby match on 25th October. Middlesbrough visit on 28th October for a League Cup (Capital One) tie before the month finishes with a Halloween trip to Crystal Palace on 31st October.

After the first half horrow show at Arsenal the players will be keen to get the winning habit back and the remaining fixtures in October offer a tough challenge across three different competitions.
