Manchester United will face Club Brugge of Belgium in the Champions League play-off round, with the first-leg taking place at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils will be pleased with the draw and likely to be heavy favourites against the Belgian Pro League outfit.

Brugge finished top of Belgian's top flight during the 2014/2015 regular season, but finished second in the play-off round. They missed out on an automatic spot in the competition to East Flanders club Gent.

The two-legged contest will be the first time United have ever faced Brugge. It'll be United's first taste of European football since the Champions League exit at Bayern Munich in April 2014.

Elsewhere, Glasgow Celtic have been paired against Swedish outfit Malmo, whilst in the Europa League play-off round, Southampton face FC Midtjylland of Denmark.
