Manchester United's League Cup clash at Milton Keynes Dons will take place on Tuesday 26th August, and is to be shown live on Sky Sports. 

The televised second round tie will be an 8pm kick-off.

It will be a new ground for the Red Army, as United face the Stadium MK club for the first time, following Wimbledon FC's controversial relocation to the Buckinghamshire.

United fans have become accustomed to entering the competition at the third round stage, but failure to qualify for Europe means the Red Devils are involved earlier.

The trip to Milton Keynes will be Louis van Gaal's first taste of action in English domestic cup competition, and he can look forward to the support of a sizeable travelling contingent.
