United came away from West Bromwich Albion's ground on Saturday with three points after a comprehensive win against the Baggies, who are now facing a relegation battle for survival in the top flight.

United improved as the game went on and goals from Phil Jones, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck secured the points for the Red Devils who looked more composed and setted than they have in many games recently. 

Big games coming up include the visit of Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday 16th, at 1.30 followed by the second leg of the Champions League tie agaianst Olympiakos on Wednesday 19th March, with United facing a 0-2 deficit. 

Nothing breeds confidence like winning games and keeping clean sheets - so Saturday's trip to the Midlands was "mission accomplished" on at least two fronts.
