Manchester United’s Phil Jones is facing approximately two weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Jones is joined in the treatment room by summer signing Marouane Fellaini, Robin van Persie and Rafael.

Prior to United’s 3-2 win at Hull, an official club statement from United read: "We can confirm Phil Jones has suffered a knee injury and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks”.

He looks sure to miss upcoming league clashes against Norwich City and Newcastle, as well as the FA Cup tie against Swansea and League Cup semi-final first-leg against Sunderland.

Since David Moyes took the helm at Old Trafford, Jones has featured regularly for United and has notched up 22 appearances this season; featuring in both defensive and midfield roles.
