FC United of Manchester suffered a 2-1 defeat at Ashford United on Boxing Day.
Karl Marginson's side let slip a half-time lead as a ten match unbeaten run came to an end.
The visitors took the lead six minutes before the break courtesy of a Michael Norton effort, however two goals in the game's final ten minutes turned the game on its head.
Gary Gee pulled the scores level from the penalty spot following a handball, before Dale Johnson's strike settled proceedings.
The Red Rebels, who finished the game with ten men, sit fourth in the Northern Premier League, 11 points behind leaders Skelmersdale United.
