Hull City boss Steve Bruce has suggested that he wants to see Ben Amos and Robbie Brady at the KC Stadium until at least the end of the season. His comments suggest the Tigers will seek to extend Brady's stay in Humberside until beyond January, and cool speculation that Amos' season-long loan with the club will not be cut short in the New Year.

Irish Winger Brady joined Hull in November on an emergency loan basis, and he has made eight appearances - four of which have been from the bench, scoring one goal.

After initially coming on as a substitute at the beginning of his loan spell, Brady - who also spent last season with the club - has broke into Hull's starting XI and will be desperate to seize the chance to impress.

Amos has played a notable role in Hull's campaign, notching up 19 appearances and registering 3 clean sheets - but his spell in Humberside has threatened to turn sour.

Bruce's confidence in the 22-year-old was questioned last month when he signed Fulham 'keeper Robbie Stockdale on loan, relegating Amos to the bench.

Fulham have now recalled Stockdale, boosting Amos' chances - but he again warmed the bench on Friday evening as Hull won 2-1 at Derby, with Eldin Jakupovic preferred between the sticks. Brady played the full 90 minutes.

Amos initially signed for the club until the end of the season, but Bruce recently said his loan move would be reviewed in January amid speculation of a possible return to Old Trafford.

However, speaking of the future of his loan players, Bruce said this week: "I don't want to have to make too many changes to the squad so I hope we can keep them.

"I want to keep them all. Hopefully we can keep the group together and secure the loan deals until the end of the season, or even make some of them permanent.

"But it's a difficult time in January so we will have to wait and see." 

Hull's away win on Friday lifted them to second in the table ahead of a hectic festive schedule which sees them host Leicester and Leeds and travel to Blackpool.
