Amos gets Oldham loan opportunity

Oldham Athletic have snapped up Manchester United ‘keeper Ben Amos on loan. The 20-year-old will join United's Lancashire rivals until the end of the 2010/2011 season.

Amos will be eager to get the opportunity to impress at Boundary Park. 

The youngster enjoyed a loan spell at Peterborough United last season – but made only one appearance in the Football League Championship. 

Athletic currently sit 13th in the League One Table. However, they have two games in hand over sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday and are only four points behind.
