Quarter-final draw

Manchester United will entertain Spurs in the quarter-final of the League Cup. The game will be a repeat of last year’s final, which saw Sir Alex Ferguson’s men claim a close-fought contest on penalties at Wembley.

The Carling-sponsored competition has proved increasingly competitive in recent years - and Saturday's draw has thrown up some mouth-watering ties.

Sir Alex Ferguson must decide whether to name a stronger starting XI for this quarter-final tie as United prepare to welcome Spurs to Old Trafford.

United have made wholesale changes for the League Cup triumphs over Wolves and Barnsley, but can expect a very difficult test against Harry Redknapp's North London side.

The games will all take place on the week commencing November 30th.

The full draw is as follows:

Blackburn v Chelsea
Manchester City v Arsenal
Manchester United v Tottenham
Portsmouth v Aston Villa
