Sir Alex to make changes for F.A Cup semi-final

Changes to be made in Cup

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he will make changes to his United line-up for Sunday’s crucial F.A Cup semi-final with Everton. Following the superb 1-0 win over Porto on Wednesday evening, the Reds boss will rotate his starting XI ahead of a potentially gruelling close season fixture pile-up.

"The game was played at such a high tempo that it would be impossible to play the same team again [on Sunday]. I will freshen things up." said the United boss.

Fergie's admission is hardly surprising. Wednesdays Cup semi-final comes less than four days after the win in Portugal and United's squad in recent weeks have been criticised for showing signs of fatigue.

Sir Alex is yet to give any clear hints as to what his starting XI may be - but the likes of Gary Neville, Darren Fletcher, Ji-Sung Park and Carlos Tevez could all be brought into the line-up as the Scotsman rings the changes.
