Nani to join Barcelona?

ManUtdWeb understands that F.C Barcelona are interested in launching an audacious bid to take Nani to La Liga. The winger has had an impressive opening season at Old Trafford and has been tipped by many to knock Ryan Giggs out of Sir Alex Ferguson’s first XI plans next season. However, sources are now suggesting that Nani could be set to leave the club over the summer.

Barcelona are rumoured to be keen on bringing Nani to the Nou Camp. However, the Catalan club would surely have to table a sizeable offer if they wanted the diminutive youngster to join the likes of Edmilson, Gianluca Zambrotta and Deco in their midfield ranks. 

Barça currently sit four points behind leaders Real Madrid in the Spanish League. They were dumped out of the Copa del Rey at Valencia last week, but are still in the Champions League and could be set for a potential semi-final showdown against the Red Devils. 

Nani has made a total of 35 appearances (23 starts) for United this season and looks a tremendous prospect for the future. His departure is surely not something that Sir Alex Ferguson or anyone else at Old Trafford would want to see.
