Manchester United have been made heavy favourites with the bookmakers to win the Premier League following Saturday’s top-flight action. The Red Devils leap-frogged Arsenal into pole position after Arsene Wenger’s moaners slipped to a fourth successive draw. Meanwhile, write off third-placed Chelsea at your peril.
United are clear favourites to win back-to-back league titles with prices currently around the 8/15 mark.
Chelsea are now second favourites with most bookies. The best price you'll find on the Blues is around the 7/2 mark - an excellent shout considering they still host United and the Gooners at Stamford Bridge.
As for Arsenal, after drawing four straight league games there price has shot up to around 5/1. Arsene Wenger's men still have to play all of their 'top four' rivals and have dropped eight points from their last four matches.
Meanwhile, following Friday’s draw, United are now second favourites to win the Champions League. Money has been flying in on new favourites Barcelona – priced at 3/1 – with the Spaniards set for a potential semi-final clash with the Red Devils. Fergie's men are a slightly better price to win the competition - currently around 7/2.
