Angolan star?

Manchester United forward Manucho is set to join Greek club Panathinikos on loan. The 24-year-old made a surprise move to Old Trafford earlier this month, penning a three-year deal with United. He caught the club's attention whilst playing for Angolan club Petro Athletico and Sir Alex Ferguson decided to take a gamble on the striker.

Manucho is currently playing for Angola in the African Cup of Nations and has been on impressive form. He hit the target in their opening match of the tournament - a 1-1 draw with South Africa - before firing a brace in a 3-1 win against Senegal.

He will head to Greece after Angola’s African Cup campaign comes to an end. The move should give him valuable experience which will help his bid to break into United’s first-team upon his return.

"After the ACN I will return to Luanda and then head to Athens," Manucho told Angola tv. 

The towering striker netted an impressive 34 goals from 78 appearances with Petro and is eager to achieve similar success in the Premier League.

"I am looking forward to playing in Greece before hopefully being a success at Old Trafford."  Good luck to Manucho with his move to Greece.
