Manchester United are three points clear at the top of the Premiership after Chelsea failed to win at Newcastle. The title race could go down to the wire as we enter the final four matches of the league campaign.

Manchester United lost no ground in their bid for Premiership glory this weekend as Chelsea failed to win at Newcastle.

Jose Mourinho's men - who were looking to close the gap on United to a single point - drew a blank at St.James' Park as the two clubs shared the spoils.

The result means Chelsea remain three points behind the Red Devils as we enter the final four games of the league campaign. The Red Devils also boast a superior goal difference to their London rivals; meaning this advantage is effectively a four-point gap at the top.

United still have to travel to Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea before hosting West Ham United on the final day of the season; whilst Jose Mourinho's men are still to face Bolton, Arsenal and Everton as well as the massive fixture against Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

However, attention now turns away from domestic football with United and Chelsea both preparing for their crucial Champions League semi-final first-leg matches this week.
