United cruise past the Hornets.

In front of another crowd of over 76,000 United eased past Watford 4-0 to keep their place at the top of the league a healthy six points. Chelsea kept the pressure on with a 3-0 victory over Blackburn at Stamford Bridge.

The Red Devils started slowly but warmed up to eventually record an emphatic win and maintain their six-point advantage, even extending their goal difference advantage over Chelsea to fourteen in the process. The lead is now as good as seven points!!

Cristiano Ronaldo had put United in front, via a penalty, - his 14th goal of the season -and Watford themselves doubled their lead with an own goal, Henrik Larsson and Wayne Rooney also found the target as United recorded their biggest win since scoring four at the Reebok before Christmas..

Next up is a Super Sunday Sky game on 4th Feb kick off 4pm
