Gianlucca Vialli feels that his former club Chelsea will not retain the Premiership crown this term. The Italian feels that United's determination to win the league title could be a defining factor in who finishes top of the pile this term. Ex-Chelsea manager Gianlucca Vialli feels that Manchester United will pip his former club to the Premiership crown this term.

The Italian believes that United’s determination to regain the league title could give them the extra edge to take the trophy

Vialli also feels that Chelsea’s ambitions to win the Champions League this term could get in the way of their chances on the domestic scene.

"I think United are going to be slightly too strong. They look really determined to win it.” said Villa, speaking to BBC Sport.

"Probably the distraction of wanting to win the Champions League will be too much for Chelsea to compete with Manchester United.”

The Red Devils currently sit three points clear at the top of the Premiership tree after drawing 1-1 with Chelsea at Old Trafford.
