Eamon McLoughlin, the agent of United midfielder Liam Miller, has confirmed that the club are open to offers for the player. The Irishman has failed to make a major impact since joining the Red Devils from Celtic in 2004.

Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offload out-of-favour midfielder Liam Miller as he prepares his squad for the new season.

The Manchester United boss is open to offers for the Irishman, who has failed to make any real impact at Old Trafford since joining the club from Celtic two seasons ago.

Miller's agent Eamon McLoughlin has confirmed that United are looking to sell the 25-year-old, who did little to impress during the club's pre-season tour of South Africa.

"I believe the manager has said that they will listen to offers for Liam." said McLoughlin.

"He has been there for two years and isn't getting a look in so I think Liam knows its time to move on. There has already been plenty of interest."

Miller has made only three Premiership starts for United since joining the club and spent much of last season on loan with rivals Leeds.
