Recent Form : In the midst of a great cup run, it's back down to earth for Queen's and a sharp dose of reality as full time outfit Morton are not the side that you want to be visiting when chasing your first league win of the season. Worse still, the Greenock side will no doubt be hurting badly from last week's debacle up at Peterhead where they lost 4-2 after being four goals behind at half time. Following their opening day 1-1 draw at Gretna, they hammered East Stirlingshire 5-1 at Cappielow, and will now be looking to restore their dignity in front of their home fans at Queen's expense.
       
Likely Outcome : It's been 40 years since Queen's last beat Morton at this venue and that provides something of an incentive for The Spiders to consign that unwelcome statistic to the garbage bin. However, Morton are still a full time outfit and Queen's tired legs from their current hectic 2 games a week schedule may take their toll in the latter stages. Morton to win by 2-1.
