| August 15th The lads get a goal in stoppage time to keep their drive for the playoffs alive. The match by far was one of Portland's worst this season. Indiana who hold the worst record in the league came close to scoring twice in the the first half of play. A minute into stoppage play Hugo Alcarez crossed the ball to Gavin Wilkinson who headed it into the net for a goal. Less then a minute later Josh Saunders make a key save to give the Timers the win. The goal was Gavin's second this season and Josh earned his forth shutout of the season. See the video of Gavin's goal and Saunders save on Allison Andrews Timber Rattlers page Special guest for the match was Northern lad and his family visiting from California of Carlisle United fame.
