Stoke City's Nottingham-born midfielder Kris Commons should be seen at a press conference proudly holding up Forest's new home jersey as early as this Wednesday. It was previously stated on the club's official site that the player, who supported Forest as a child, was expected to sign this June.

| According to the official site- Kris Commons should be wearing the famous garibaldi jersey on or before this Wednesday!
The club previously stated that they should expect the player to sign on the dotted line before the month of July is up and that they are already working on a fee to avoid being forced into a tribunal. The reason that the player has not done so already will probably be the fact that Joe Kinnear is still on his "holidays" and scouting in Portugal. As well as that another reason that we should expect to see Commons in a Reds' top pretty soon is the fact that Mark Arthur has said that eight signings are due to be made this summer and all have already been agreed. In other news, Pre-Season also starts this week and this will be the perfect opportunity for the Nottingham-born midfielder to link up with his new team-mates and become acquainted with his surroundings. |
