Earlier today, team SAUBER PETRONAS announced the cancellation of the C24's launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia out of respect to the tsunami victims in Southeast Asia.
The team has now confirmed that the C24 will be unveiled on Friday, 14 January at the start of a three-day test in Valencia. SAUBER veteran Felipe Massa will have the first test with it on Friday and Saturday. Jacques Villeneuve will take over the driving on Sunday for his third test with his new team.
It has been rumoured that SAUBER will also reveal a major new sponsor to take Red Bull's place. No hints have been dropped as to who the sponsor is. It seems the team are keeping it a closely guarded secret.
Sauber Speak had been planning a live chat for the KL launch but we will rearrange our plans as well to stage a get-together on 14 January. Stay tuned for further details.
