Sauber Test: Quite happy with what we achieved

Sauber Petronas completed its three-day test at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello yesterday. Nick Heidfeld took over the driving and covered 99 laps in chassis 05. Jacky Eeckelaert, the teams Head of Vehicle Engineering, commented "Thanks to stable weather conditions the test today could function as a synergy of the last two days and confirmed the data gathered so far.

"We have also worked again on Bridgestone data for Barcelona and Austria. Nick has covered many laps and we could complete our test programme as scheduled.

"We have discovered some improvements which we expect to pay off at the forthcoming races. Overall, we are quite happy with what we could achieve."
