Sunday 30/6/02 at South Leeds Stadium KO 3:30pm. Hopefully this should be an easy victory for the Roughyeds and a chance to put some dissapointing performances behind them. John Harbin suffered another blow this week with news that prop Paul Norton broke his ribs in last weeks match against Batley..

ROUGHYEDS V HAWKS

Oldham travel to The South Leeds Stadium to take on a struggling Hunslet side who are currently just one place off the bottom of the NFP. Hopefully this should be an easy victory for the Roughyeds, who are desperate to make up ground on the sides above them. After several dissapointing performances in recent games this should be a chance for Oldham to regain some much needed confidence.

The Roughyeds lost another two players through injuries following last weeks game against Batley Bulldogs. Paul Norton is expected to be out for several weeks, after breaking his ribs in a colision with former Oldham player Joe Nadiola. Also ruled out of the Hunslet game is Anthony Gibbons, who went off part way through the second-half with a groin injury.

However, there is some good news for Oldham. Both Lee Doran and Joey Hayes are expected to be fit after both needing stitches in head wounds during the Batley game. Also returning from injury are John Braddish, Anthony Murray and Danny Guest.
