ORISA Meeting

Minutes of a meeting held on Wednesday 26th February at Clayton Arms.

The meeting opened at 8.15pm with Mr D Patterson in the chair.

PRESENT
Mr & Mrs Patterson, Mrs Ogden, Mr Dudley, Mr Royales, Mr Haslop, Mr Shyne.

APOLOGIES
Mr Ogden, Mrs Shyne, Mrs Rowlands, Mr Heap, Mr Sedgwick, Mr Plevin, Mr Maloney, Mr & Mrs Salway, Mrs Mullen, Mr Cockcroft, Mr Hanson

The minutes were passed around to members and read with no amendments being made.

MATTERS ARISING
1 Sylvia said that Brian had been in touch and a photograph with Mr Heap and the caps, which were being presented to the heritage trust, were taken on Tuesday and Brian said it would be in the Salford game.
2 Sylvia reported that the database would be sorted out as soon as we get all the new members names.
3 Sylvia reported that Ian is now putting the minutes on the website.
4 Sylvia mentioned the fans forum. David is going to ring Colin Morris to get a date for a round about the end of the season. Sylvia said that Johnny Noone and Alan Davis would attend.
5 Sylvia said she had not been into Zuttis because they had gone on holiday. She will call in when they are back.
6 Sylvia mentioned the pool and darts night we agreed for the 3rd August, when we play Salford at home. David is to get hold of Ray Hill about the event and we are also going to raffle a shirt on the day.
7 Sylvia said everything was ok for the golf tournament.
8 Sylvia mentioned the marathon and it was suggested we look elsewhere for a venue. Margaret mentioned she had a number to ring.
9 Sylvia reported about going to ~York races and David Haslop brought a programme with fixtures in it. It was suggested 11th October would be the best day and Sylvia would ring K Matt about the coach.
10 Sylvia mentioned that we had to see Patrick about a raffle. She also said we had been given a bottle of whiskey by MR Frank Bashforth.
11 Sylvia said that the fun day be kept in abeyance for the time being.
12 Sylvia mentioned that the players reunion for the hall of fame to be left for now, until we hear from Brian.
13 Sylvia mentioned Brads (Bradford mascot) about a visit to Bradford Bulls. Bill and Kevin said they would speak to him about getting a fixture list.

TEN MINUTE BREAK

TREASURERS REPORT
Neil gave a report that we had at the last meeting £772.50 and said we now have £817.30. Margaret has £32 in hand so we now have a total of £869.30.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
1 Sylvia thanked the juniors for the money towards the coach to London.
2 Sylvia reported that we might do a raffle for the Cardiff trip.
3 David said that he had heard nothing from Mr Hamilton. David said he had rung Mr Mitchell twice with no response. David also has to ask Mr Molloy for a letter about the money we gave to the players.

There was no further business, so the meeting was closed at 9-30

The date of the next meeting is 19th March at the Clayton Arms at 8pm.
