Airdrie's defender Allan McManus has been up in front of the SFL disciplinary board and an internal disciplinary hearing and the results are in.

Allan McManus received two red cards during Saturdays match against St Mirren and although speculation on the Broomfield Stomp said three re cards Airdrie have confirmed that it was only two.

This has taken him over the disciplinary limit, which has added to the ban. The total ban is five matches!

Allan has made his apologies to all concerned and at an internal hearing accepted the clubs punishment. Airdrie will not be releasing the details of this internal investigation.

It is unknown yet whether Allan will miss the Dundee cup game and we await confirmation.
