Airdrie fought our way back in to the play off spot after a 3-1 win against Brechin last week, can we maintian that position as we travel south to take on Stranraer? In our past three meetings Airdrie have won two lost one and they have all been very close games. In the first match at home the Diamonds won 1-0 Andy Ryan scoring the only goal of the match just before the half our point. In the second game Airdrie won 2-1 away from home, Adam Brown opened the scoring only to see Scott Agnew equalise but once again it would be Andy Ryan who would secure the points for the Diamonds with a goal on 77 minutes. In the final meeting Stranraer won 2-1 in Airdrie, all the goals came in the second half first up Craig Malcolm opened the scoring and Ryan Thomson scored Stranraer's second Andy Ryan once again scored against Stranraer but it was too lottle too late. 

Predcition League

Never was I happier, not to get the correct score last week, we played well against Brechin going up 2-0 with less than 25 minutes on the clock, but when Brechin got a goal back through Jack Lietch's header from their corner I thought we were in trouble. Iain Russell's second of the match gave us the break we needed, which in turn meant there was a chance someone else could take the top spot in the prediction league.

It doesn't look like anyone wants this seasons top.

Against Stranraer Airdrie fans have voted.

If I had only realized I had missed out 9 games I might well have been mid table but still out of the running; a bit like how I thought we would be placed with 4 games to go! Still in with a chance of top four!

Bloody Keyboard i've really got to hammer down on the letter 'K' to make it worK and sometimes I don't re-read what I've written so i don't spot that the 'K' hasn't typed.

No idea why it's only the 'K' I have problems with

Bloody keeper fumbles 1-0 why is he still there.it is every week at least one fumbled goal ,have to fight for play offs now.

Why has dopey ditherspoon allowed this sh*te to continue, cant compete with part time teams, i hope wilson, dalziel and that useless @#$%& of a goal keeper go at the end of the season, the worst ever goalkeeper ever to have played for Airdrie, manager p*sh, ditherspoon take a good look at the mess you have created

Looks like we'll remain in the Diddy League next season. Well with players like Ferguson & Mackay and the clowns that run the club..we really dont deserve anything else. They couldn't run a bath. Useless !!

Aye their keeper makes some great saves our keeper fumbles .clearance to opposition 2goals.there has got to be some other reason for this keeper to play every week,any other position in the team and he would have been gone,I am sorry but this is our worst keeper.I know McKay didn't play long today but who but Airdrie would sign him on loan.

Yet again after ten minutes of not very much on a windy day/playable pitch, our goalie has another lets catch the ball and drop it without recovering moment. One goal down and you sense another defeat on the cards. Not much football from either side but a really good bit of play and set up by Ryan sees Conroy hesitate rather than belt it in. Some useless corners and Stranraer first to every ball; sclaffs all over the place; Gorman finding touch regularly/goalie finding no one and midfield quite poor. Slightly better 2nd half but another calamitous kick out to their player and no challenge by defenders and it's two down. Thought it might be more but a really good move saw Ryan yet again score. Huffing and puffing in a 4-4-2( If you count McKay) and a very good free kick save by Tubby goalie left us amazingly with other results still in 4th place! It looks as if QP are the only team wanting to impress. Pass marks to Stewart/Ryan/MacIntosh but the others had a terrible day. Stranraer were not that good but they know how to stay ahead. Yes the goalie needs dropped but it wont happen.
