Joe Gorman would be a good signing,I know his history, but we would not be Airdrie if we signed a player without a wee bit history ,sign him quick.

A shame but expected. Listers ability and goals will be difficult to replace.

Don't think we should worry about facing any of our released players,if we have ambition's to get promotion I am afraid they are not good enough and have got to be replaced.

According to Scottish Sun - Lithgow has signed for Livi.

Ambition for promotion ? Huge ask imo as it looks like an entirely new team will be required

Most clubs are signing new players, are we going to get the dross that no one else wants?

Player of the year syndrome strikes again-wonder whatever happened to all the previous ones? Boyle at Ayr/McCord now at Arbroath/Lister at Forfar/ and I cant remember any other. Dissapointed at Cadden going and what team emerges on July start remains a mystery.

Sorry -wake up a smell the coffee time - its @#$%& all to do with player of the year syndrome - it'll be to do with the fact that we do not know who will be managing our football team next season and the wages on offer.

Sorry to raise it but is EWB really in a fit and proper state to be saying what players he would like brought in ? He really has other things to be concerned with - if I'm wrong - I'll be happy

Its still only May but yet again the club seem to be mis-managing a positive (full time) and lack of information, players leaving for an immediate rival leads fans to speculate.

I think it would be more worrying if the players were moving up a league ,but it's to lower or the same.Maybe we could have kept 2or 3 but for most they would not get us promotion and as it proves not good enough for championship as no one has moved up.

I much prefer a cup of tea and don't need to smell any coffee; all I was doing was wondering what happened to all those players who fans pick as POTY. They still left even when we did have the same manager in place(Black Boyle Bollan) and full time/part time wages on offer. I do agree that EWB's position is worrying tho' I would have thought that even had he not become unwell. As Jetsky says most have moved on to similar or less League status so our squad when it emerges might be competitive.

One sugar or two ?

My main fear is that - yet again - its seems an entire team is required - rather than building on some of the successes/better performers from last season - competitive ? - only time will tell

I genuinely wish EWB all the very best for a recovery but purely from a footballing perspective - the situation needs clarifying and we need to start building now.

Totally agree. We have known the situation with EWB for some time..we understand that he is still in recovery and wish him well.
However we are back to the same questions as before..serious decisions require to be made regarding next season's squad..and who is making these? We have to assume that its the Owner and Chief Ex !!

"One sugar or two ?"
Black,no milk and no sugar-life is sweet enough despite a dreadful season and little info about future signings is not enough yet to drive me to stronger drink. I agree with your fears but will wait till I know a wee bit more? Whatever happened to young POTY Ryan Donnelly?
